About Me!

My name is Grace and I am currently a junior at Georgia College and State University. I am studying marketing and film and I am very interested in the sports and entertainment industries. These industries excite me because of the potential to bring people together. I love to travel and bring my camera along with me to create videos and share my experiences with others.

I also pride myself on my loyalty and dedication. I have been a loyal Iowa Hawkeyes fan since the day I was born. Win or lose, that is my team. I plan to bring this level of devotion to my future place of work.

Film and Marketing!

My love for film comes from the feeling of community you get sitting in a theater watching the latest blockbuster movie. I love the creative freedom of making an idea into reality. When I realized that this passion could be turned into a career, I began taking classes through the Georgia Film Academy to earn a film certificate. I have already taken an introduction to production class and am currently enrolled in an introduction to post-production class. Through these classes I have gained editing, camera, lighting, and rigging skills. By May 2026 I will be certified in post-production by the Georgia Film Academy.

My love for marketing is based on creative problem-solving. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out new ways to position products and companies to make them appeal to a target market. I have taken classes in sales, fashion marketing, business law, finance, psychology, and more, so I feel that I have a well rounded business education. These classes have taught me how to be a team leader, how to communicate effectively, how to be adaptable, and how to build relationships. There are certain brands that I love and will go back to time and time again. Using my skills to create that kind of love for a brand is a challenge I am ready to take on.

YouTube!

I created my YouTube channel in 2019 as a creative outlet. I begged my mom to let me post a video for about a year until she finally caved. The first video I posted was simply me cooking and dancing in my kitchen. There were multiple comments on that video commending me for my editing skills. I thought that was strange since I had no prior editing experience, but I took the compliment. Since then I have created so many videos that encapsulate the last six years of my life. My YouTube channel remains my creative outlet and passion project. My camera has become my therapist and editing has become my dream.
